Rajib Ranjan Borah

About the Faculty

Rajib Ranjan Borah is the Co-founder and CEO of iRage Capital, a firm specializing in high-frequency and algorithmic trading across asset classes like equities, currencies, and commodities. Under his leadership, iRage has become one of India’s leading high-frequency trading firms. Rajib is also the Co-founder and Director of QuantInsti, where he has been instrumental in creating educational programs like EPAT, which trains professionals in algorithmic trading worldwide.

Rajib’s professional journey includes roles at global firms such as Optiver, Oracle, and Bloomberg, where he gained expertise in trading strategies, risk management, and performance optimization. Academically, he holds a PGDM from IIM Calcutta and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from NIT Surathkal.

Outside of work, Rajib has a passion for puzzles and has represented India three times at the World Puzzle Championship. He is also an avid traveler.

Rajib’s extensive industry experience, combined with his dedication to education, makes him an exceptional mentor for understanding the practical and theoretical aspects of algorithmic trading.
